The Rotary Drum Screen (also called Rotary Screens, Drum Screen Recycling, waste trommel screen) is an advanced self-cleaning mechanical screening device, essential for municipal solid waste disposal (MSW) and waste sorting recycling. Widely used in recycling plants, waste management facilities and composting facilities, it classifies solid materials by particle size, pairing perfectly with Conveyor Belt, Waste Feeder and Municipal solid waste feeding system to lay a foundation for efficient resource recovery.
Composed of motor, reducer, roller device, frame, inlet and outlet, it adopts an inclined rotating screen cylinder (multi-section with mesh holes from small to large) for multi-stage screening. Screen materials (wear-resistant steel, perforated plate, woven mesh) adapt to wet/sticky materials, with an automatic cleaning brush to prevent clogging.
Working Principle: The inclined cylinder rotates via motor and coupling. Materials fed (via Plate Feeder or Vibrating Feeder) tumble forward; smaller particles pass through the screen, larger ones are discharged, achieving precise classification and avoiding clogging via tumbling.
Key Parameters: Screening size: 3–150 mm (common 50–150 mm); Capacity: 20–500 t/h (adjustable); Power: 5.5–22kw; CE/ISO:9001; Origin: Henan, China.
Features & Advantages: High efficiency, low noise, robust design, easy maintenance (modular screen, removable hood). It integrates with waste sorting machine, Magnetic Separator and Bag Opener, supports customization, and features energy-saving design for sustainable waste management.
Applicable Scenarios: Suitable for MSW, household waste, construction waste, landfill stale waste and sand-gravel mixtures. It separates organic and non-organic matter, and works with waste shredder machine, horizontal baler machine to form a complete waste processing line.
